The Landmark Association offers its condolences to the family of John Perkins. John Perkins was a charter member of the Association and served for many years on the Board of Directors. He also was involved for many years in selling historic properties through his real estate business; restored several historic buildings himself; and was the recipient of the Association's Heritage Award and the Margaret Willis Award, Kentucky's highest preservation award. In 1998, the Association honored John Perkins by naming one of its Endowed Funds after him. The Perkins family has suggested that donations in John's memory be made to the John Perkins Operation Endowment c/o Landmark Association, P.O. Box 1812, Bowling Green, KY 42102-1812. |
